Zionist settlers burn Palestinian cars, target mosque in fresh West Bank attacks

A horde of Zionist settlers has set fire to several Palestinian cars and vandalized property in the West Bank, as Zionist regime's attacks against Palestinian citizens and their land continue to surge across the occupied territory.

According to local sources, the attack unfolded on Sunday evening in the town of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, when a group of Israeli settlers stormed the al-Marah area near the western entrance of the town.

The extremists set fire to and smashed four vehicles belonging to Palestinian citizens, causing heavy material damage.

The al-Baidar Human Rights Organization said that the settler rampage resulted in widespread damage to residents' property, including vehicles, homes, and agricultural land in the targeted area.

In a separate yet strikingly similar incident, a group of settlers stormed the town of Burqa in eastern Ramallah Sunday night and attempted to set fire to a local mosque.

Local sources reported that the assailants ignited a fire at the entrance of a mosque in Burqa, fired live ammunition into the air, and set a car ablaze during their brazen attack. No injuries were reported.

These back-to-back attacks come amid a marked and alarming surge in Israeli attacks across the occupied West Bank. According to figures released by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli forces and settlers carried out a staggering 1,659 attacks against Palestinian citizens and their property during the month of May alone, including 551 carried out by settlers.

These latest violent acts occur amid ongoing Israeli breach of the ceasefire agreement that took effect in October 2025.

Despite the ceasefire, the Zionist regime’s genocidal campaign persists through continued attacks, shootings, demolitions, and aggressive actions across various parts of the Gaza Strip.

The Axis of Resistance and the steadfast Palestinian people, however, remain resolute in the face of this aggression.
