Tehran rally holds US, Israel responsible for deaths in Iran riots
A large crowd of citizens in Tehran issued a statement on Monday at the end of their rally to protest days of deadly foreign-backed riots across the country, holding the US and Israel responsible for the bloods shed during the unrest.
The statement also called on the government to take necessary measures to improve the livelihood of the people a couple of days after the implementation of an economic reform plan which triggered nationwide protests that were later used by foreign enemies to ignite unrest in the country.
The protesters in Tehran called on the judiciary system to punish the “rented terrorists who insulted the sanctities of the Iranian nation.”
The statement also condemned interventionist measures taken by three European countries, urging the foreign ministry to pursue the issue in the international bodies and prevent their “hypocritical interventions in supporting domestic terrorism.”
