Resheq: Hamas’s second “Al-Aqsa Storm” narrative dismantled the West-backed Zionist storyline

Senior Hamas official Ezzat al-Resheq has said that the second narrative of Operation “Al-Aqsa Storm,” which was recently released by the Movement, reflects “the Palestinian people’s deep-rooted connection to their land, their partnership with the resistance, and their aspiration for the liberation of their homeland and holy sites.”

In a statement on Friday, Resheq added that the eight chapters of Hamas’s second narrative about Al-Aqsa Storm“unveil the true reality the Palestinian people have endured for more than seven decades under fascist occupation and settler colonialism.”

“Al-Aqsa Storm was not a passing event or a sudden raid, but rather a pivotal milestone in the history of the Palestinian struggle,” Resheq underscored.

“This milestone has unleashed a moral shockwave, awakening the world’s conscience and compelling many to confront the truth about one of the most heinous and longest colonial occupation regimes in modern history,” Resheq said.

“The narrative conveys a clear message that the Palestinian cause is about national liberation, justice, freedom, and human dignity, belonging to a people who are adherent to their constants, rights and holy sites, and willing to make sacrifices for self-determination,” Resheq added.

“In the chapters of the narrative, Gaza has represented a glorious crossing ground and a unique symbol of heroism and endurance,” the Hamas official said.

He affirmed that Hamas’s narrative about the cross-border operation dismantled “the Zionist storyline that has long been propped up by the US administration and some Western countries.”
