Zionist war minister vows to continue aggression against Gaza, three Arab countries
Zionist regime’s minister of military affairs, Israel Katz, has pledged to continue military assaults across the region, including Gaza, where mass civilian casualties and an aid blockade have fueled one of the worst humanitarian crises in decades.
Zionist regime “will continue its operations in Lebanon, Syria, the Gaza Strip and Yemen,” Hebrew-language daily newspaper Maariv quoted Katz as saying on Wednesday during a training course for Zionist regime’s Air Force pilots. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir were also in attendance.
“In Lebanon, we will continue to apply maximum force against Hezbollah; in Syria, Israel will not withdraw from Mount Hermon (Jabal al-Sheikh) and the [so-called] security zone; and in the Gaza Strip, Israel remains committed to dismantling Hamas and disarming the territory,” he added.
The Zionist regime’s war chief noted that the regime will continue its strikes on Yemen to prevent the Ansarullah-led Yemeni government from strengthening its capabilities.
Turning to the 12-day blatant and unprovoked aggression against Iran back in June, Katz claimed that Zionist regime inflicted “significant damage on Iran’s nuclear and strategic capabilities” in cooperation with its American partners.
He emphasized that the Zionist regime’s security apparatus is closely monitoring developments, refusing to provide further details.
The Zionist regime’s military has martyred at least 70,942 Palestinians, the majority being women and children, and wounded another 171,195 individuals in Gaza since October 2023.
Despite a ceasefire that came into effect on October 10, Zionist regime has not adhered to the agreement, restricting the entry of the stipulated amounts of aid trucks. This has exacerbated what the Health Ministry has labeled a dire and persistent health crisis amid a medicine shortage.
The bloody Gaza onslaught fueled regional tensions and sparked an exchange of attacks with Hezbollah resistance movement in Lebanon and Yemen’s Ansarullah.
Meanwhile, Israel has repeatedly conducted acts of aggression across Syrian territory since the collapse of former President Bashar al-Assad's government late last year.
Netanyahu has instructed his forces to advance further into Syrian territory to capture multiple critical strategic positions in the area.
On June 13, Zionist regime launched an unprovoked war against Iran, assassinating many high-ranking military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.
More than a week later, the United States also entered the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of the United Nations Charter, international law, and the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.
The confrontation came to an end on June 24, when the US requested a ceasefire on behalf of the Zionist regime.
