Hamas: Israeli bulldozing of Marda lands is part of ongoing land grab and Judaization plan

The Hamas Movement has condemned the Zionist regime’s army’s move to bulldoze approximately 61 dunums of land in the village of Marda, north of Salfit, calling it “another step in a series of land grab and Judaization schemes.”

In a press statement on Monday, Hamas leader Abdul Rahman Shadid said that Zionist regime’s far-right government is moving forward with Judaization projects aimed at full control over the West Bank.

Shadid warned of the dangers of the current escalation in settlement activity, emphasizing that these Israeli decisions constitute a blatant assault on Palestinian land and people.

He noted that the bulldozing targets agricultural lands that serve as a primary source of livelihood for hundreds of families in Marda and support the village’s long-standing farming economy, raising alarms about the destruction of the local environment and economy.

Shadid affirmed that the Palestinian people “will not give up their land or their rights, and will not surrender to the occupation’s brutality and ongoing crimes.”

He urged official bodies, local councils, and community movements to intensify efforts to confront these actions, provide legal and grassroots support to those affected, and resist settlement expansion by all available means.

Shadid also called on the international community to take urgent action to stop Zionist regime’s settlement policies and to confront the Israeli “fascism” aimed at enforcing annexation and displacement plans.
