Yemen’s leader:

Nasrallah remains a nightmare for Zionist regime

Yemen’s Ansarullah movement leader, Abdelmalik al-Houthi, says that Lebanese resistance leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah is still a nightmare for Zionist regime even though he was assassinated by the regime a year ago.

“Martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been ... a true horror and nightmare for the Zionists for over four decades,” said Sayyed Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi in a speech on Saturday marking the martyrdom anniversary of the former secretary general of Hezbollah.

Abdulmalik said that Nasrallah helped stop Zionist-led efforts to spread defeatism among the Muslim nations and corrected misconceptions about challenging the Zionist narrative.

He said that after Hezbollah’s victory against Israel in the 2006 war, the “New Middle East” project designed by the US to change the geopolitics of the region “collapsed under the feet of the warriors in Lebanon”.

“Nasrallah stood like a towering mountain against the New Middle East project announced by the US at the time,” said the Yemeni leader, according to remarks published by the Al Masirah TV.

Abdulmalik said that if the Arab countries had supported Hezbollah's 2006 victory, it would have had a far greater impact on the lives of Muslim nations.

“The 2006 victory gave Lebanon over 18 years of protection and stability from Israel,” he said.

Ansarullah leader said the current generation of resistance fighters has lived alongside Nasrallah and has learned from him, adding that his great qualities and noble traits will remain a blessing for the entire humanity.

Hezbollah disarmament, US-Israeli plot

Abdulmalik said Hezbollah’s achievements are clear, lasting, and undeniable, adding that the entire armies of the region failed to achieve even a fraction of what Hezbollah has accomplished.

He said the only reason for US-Israeli calls to disarm Hezbollah is that the group blocks Israel’s occupation of Lebanon.

“Calls to disarm the Resistance in Lebanon, Palestine, and now Iran are US-Israeli demands ... the US and Israel naturally seek to remove any obstacle to their schemes of domination,” said the Yemeni leader.

He said that Arab and Islamic countries need all types of weapons to face looming dangers, adding that weapon ownership should only be a problem for Israel.

Abdulmalik said that after nearly two years of Israeli aggression in Gaza and its attacks on other countries, it has become clear that the regime seeks to dominate the region with the help of the US.

“The US-Israeli scheme targets the entire Muslim world, its peoples, and its countries without exception,” he said.
