‘You cannot even take back a single vessel’:
Yemen’s Ansarullah dismisses Zionist regime’s threats to occupy Sana’a

Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement has categorically dismissed the latest Zionist regime threats to assassinate its leader, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, and raise the regime’s flag over the Arab country’s capital of Sana’a.
“You talk about the occupation of Sana’a, whilst you cannot take back a single vessel,” Mohammed al-Farah, a member of the Ansarullah political bureau, said late on Friday in reaction to Israeli minister of military affairs Israel Katz’s threats.
He added, “Before talking about Sana’a, you would better take action and end the shutdown of the Port of Eilat.”
Farah was referring to a series of strikes by Yemeni Armed Forces against strategic installations within the Israeli-occupied territories on Thursday night.
In a televised statement aired by Yemen’s al-Masirah TV, the Yemeni military spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree said a long-range hypersonic ballistic missile had targeted a military site in the city of Tel Aviv, while three drones hit targets in the city of Beersheba and the port city of Eilat.
“Eilat will remain under the continuous targeting of our military operations,” Saree said.
The senior Ansarullah official noted that whilst Katz is speaking of hoisting the Israeli flag in Sana’a, he cannot run up the flag over the ships destined to the occupied lands, and the vessels have to hang out the flags of other countries in order to avoid being targeted by the Yemeni naval forces.
In a statement on the social media platform X on Friday, Katz asserted, “Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, your turn is coming. You will be sent to meet your government and all members of the axis of evil waiting in the depths of hell.”
Katz was referring to the assassination of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi and several ministers in an Israeli airstrike on Sana’a on August 28.
The Ansarullah flag “will be replaced by the Israeli blue-and-white flag,” the Israeli minister further claimed.
In response to the genocidal war on Gaza that commenced in October 2023, Yemeni forces implemented a strategic maritime blockade aimed at hindering the flow of military supplies to Zionist regime, while calling on the international community to confront the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
Simultaneously, they executed several missile and drone strikes on critical targets situated in the Israeli-occupied territories, showcasing their support for the Palestinians in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have clearly declared their intention to persist with their operations until Zionist regime ceases its ground and aerial attacks on Gaza.
The Zionist regime’s war in Gaza has martyred more than 65,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
