Survivors of Israel's pager attack on Hezbollah vow revenge on Zionist regime

Survivors of Zionist regime attacks on the Hezbollah resistance movement in Lebanon have expressed their readiness to take revenge against the Zionist regime, which is perpetuating wars and destabilizing the West Asia region.

In a message directed to Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem, the survivors declared their unwavering commitment to sacrificing for victory, stating that they are “truly ready to make sacrifices to emerge triumphant and win at any cost.”

“We are prepared for sacrifice, eager for martyrdom, and determined to achieve victory at any cost. We know that those who trust in God the Almighty are invincible,” the message emphasized.

They also paid tribute to the martyred Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and to other martyrs, honoring them as heroes who remained steadfast in their commitment. They reaffirmed their dedication to the path laid out by these figures.

The survivors highlighted that the essence of Hezbollah's strength lies in its unity and its reliance on the support of the people.

“We are committed to our covenant with our martyred leader and aspirations of our dear and generous people,” they said.

The message comes on the first anniversary of Israel’s deadly pager and walkie-talkie explosions in Lebanon.

At least 39 people, including two children, were martyred, and more than 3,400 others suffered mostly debilitating injuries throughout the pager attacks on September 18 and 19, 2024. The casualties included many members of Hezbollah.

The blasts maimed a considerable number of the victims, largely with eye and limb injuries.

The atrocity came as part of the Israeli regime’s deadly aggression against Lebanon, which killed at least 3,130 Lebanese people before it ended in November 2024 after a ceasefire was reached.

The message came hours after Sheikh Qassem hailed the victims of the explosions and their resilience to overcome the debilitating wounds they suffered.

“The Israeli enemy wanted to neutralize your power and remove you from the battle, (but) you re-entered it with greater strength and energy,” the message said.

The Hezbollah leader said that the resistance fighters would be the victors.

“Know that Israel will fall given its nature of occupation, oppression, criminality, and aggression, and the fact that the resistance fighters are confronting it until liberation,” he added.

A political aide to Sheikh Qassem also categorically rejected plans for the disarmament of the resistance group, saying that the scheme places the Arab nation at the mercy of the United States and Israel.

Hussein al-Khalil said in an interview with the Beirut-based al-Nour radio station that the firm stance of Hezbollah and its allies prevented authorities from implementing the foreign-imposed diktats regarding the disarmament of the resistance movement.

On January 27, Lebanon made a declaration regarding its decision to prolong the ceasefire with Israel until February 18.

Nonetheless, Israel maintains its occupation of five important locations in southern Lebanon, including Labbouneh, Mount Blat, Owayda Hill, Aaziyyeh, and Hammamis Hill, all of which are located near the border.

Despite almost daily Israeli airstrikes and ongoing breaches of Lebanese airspace and sovereignty, Hezbollah continues to be the sole credible military entity capable of challenging the occupation and thwarting additional Israeli intrusions.

As demands from Washington and Israel to disarm the Lebanese resistance group intensify, numerous individuals within the Arab nation contend that such attempts overlook the fundamental problem of Zionist regime’s ongoing infringements on Lebanese sovereignty.
