Hamas calls for global marches of anger against Israeli genocide, starvation campaign

The Hamas Movement has issued a call for global “marches of anger” against the Zionist regime’s occupation and its supporters to be held on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (August 15–17).
The protests aim to demand an immediate end to the aggression, the reopening of crossings, and the unfettered delivery of humanitarian aid.
In its press release issued on Wednesday, Hamas urged widespread solidarity in honor of Al Jazeera journalists Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammad Qariqaa, who were killed while performing their duty of reporting the truth, along with their colleagues targeted by the Israeli occupation.
The Movement urged a significant mobilization across cities, capitals, and public squares worldwide during the specified days to denounce Israeli aggression, US support for it, and global silence in the face of these crimes.
Hamas called for large-scale participation in marches outside Israeli and US embassies, as well as missions representing other Israel-supporting states, to expose the ongoing genocide and engineered famine and stand up for the rights of the Palestinian people.
The statement reaffirmed calls to activate all forms of popular, student, and union-based pressure to reopen crossings immediately and ensure entry of food, medicine, water, and other vital humanitarian supplies.
Hamas emphasized: “Let these days become a unified global voice against killing, bombing, genocide, and starvation, a new step toward ending the aggression and lifting the siege.”
