Hamas calls for ending Zionist regime's deadly distribution of aid in Gaza

Hamas called for a return to the international mechanisms for distributing aid in the Gaza Strip under the supervision of the UN and its competent agencies, denouncing the continued use of the Zionist regime’s occupation’s deadly aid distribution system.
“The Israeli occupation’s crimes against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip persist through the deadly aid mechanism, which has turned into death traps managed, under US cover, by Israeli forces,” Hamas said in a statement on Monday.
Hamas accused the Zionist army of directly and deliberately targeting schools and displacement centers with the aim of killing and injuring dozens of displaced families every day.
Hamas also pointed to the systematic Zionist regime’s attacks on Gaza’s already devastated healthcare system, especially hospitals and medical centers.
“Alongside the starvation campaign, the occupation army has escalated its targeting of the few water desalination plants in the Gaza Strip, using thirst as a weapon, together with starvation, against hundreds of thousands of civilians,” Hamas added.
The Movement stressed the need for the international community, its institutions, and the Arab and Islamic countries to shoulder their legal and moral responsibilities in this regard and take serious and urgent action to curb Zionist regime’s war crimes in Gaza.
