Hamas: Al-Aqsa is a red line and we will not allow Israel’s Judaization plans to succeed

Senior Hamas official and head of the Movement’s Jerusalem Affairs Office, Haroun Nasser al-Din, reaffirmed on Friday that Al-Aqsa Mosque remains a religious and national priority, warning that the Zionist regime’s ongoing assaults and settler incursions are part of a broader campaign to take control of the sacred site.

In a statement, Nasser al-Din condemned what he described as the intensifying efforts by Zionist regime’s occupation police forces and settlers to prevent Palestinian worshippers from entering Al-Aqsa’s courtyards and to impose a new status quo by force and Judaization policies.

“These attacks are part of the occupation’s systematic plan to empty Al-Aqsa of its people and impose full control over it,” he said. “But Al-Aqsa is a red line. We will not allow the occupation’s malicious plans against the Mosque and against Al-Quds to pass, no matter the cost,” he underscored.

The Hamas official praised the resilience of the Palestinians who continue to mobilize and respond to the calls to protect Al-Aqsa despite increasing Zionist regime’s restrictions, harassment, and arrests. Their steadfastness, he said, sends a clear message of unshakable commitment to defending the Mosque.

Nasser al-Din called on Palestinians in Jerusalem and 1948 occupied Palestine to maintain their presence at Al-Aqsa and intensify their efforts to confront the Zionist regime’s attempts to Judaize the city and alter its religious and historical landmarks.
