Zionist regime’s spy chief steps down as Iranian missiles pound occupied territories

The head of the Zionist regime’s Shin Bet spy agency has stepped down amid Iran's large-scale retaliatory military operation against the Zionist entity late on Saturday.
His resignation comes months after he warned the regime officials about the Islamic Republic "infiltrating" deeply into the Zionist regime’s intelligence affairs.
Arutz Sheva, an Israeli media network, reported the development in an early Sunday statement.
Bar’s official resignation follows tensions between him and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom the spy chief has blamed for Tel Aviv’s predicaments, including what he calls “Iranian infiltration.”
The top spy stepped down as the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) launched a fresh round of missiles and drones deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories.
The operation has been described as the "largest ever" seen, more than True Promise I and II.
Back in March, Bar had warned the regime officials that the Zionist entity was "going through an especially difficult and complex period,” and noted that “the Iranian hand is deep inside Israel.”
Days before he officially tendered his resignation, Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced that it had acquired a vast trove of secret documents on the regime’s nuclear and military structures.
During Bar’s tensions with Netanyahu, the Israeli premier tried to dismiss him, but failed as the spymaster stood his ground.
Bar said the premier had asked him to spy on the premier’s political opponents and the Israeli settlers opposing his drawn-out genocidal war on the Gaza Strip at the risk of the Israeli captives.
At the height of the tensions, Bar took legal action against Netanyahu by submitting an eight-page letter about him to the regime’s legal authorities.
