Hayya praises sacrifices, resilience of Palestinian journalists
Khalil al-Hayya, head of Hamas’s political bureau, has paid tribute to Palestinian journalists and media workers, praising their role in conveying the truth to the world despite Israeli intimidation and targeting.
In a statement on Saturday, Khalil al-Hayya recalled the reporters who were martyred or wounded while covering events through both images and words.
Al-Hayya described Palestinian journalists and media workers as “the voice of our people and eyewitnesses to the enemy’s crimes.”
The Hamas leader urged journalists to keep conveying the truth and highlighting the Palestinian cause, despite dangerous working conditions.
