Seven Palestinians wounded in Zionist regime’s attacks as Gaza truce violations mount
Seven Palestinians, including a woman and a child, have sustained injuries in Zionist regime’s attacks across the Gaza Strip amid Tel Aviv's ongoing violations of a ceasefire agreement.
Medical sources said on Sunday that six of those wounded were transported to Nasser Hospital following Zionist regime’s gunfire in southern and central areas of Khan Yunis.
Witnesses reported that Zionist regime’s tanks also shelled tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in al-Mawasi, south of Khan Yunis and north of Rafah.
Zionist regime’s gunfire also injured another Palestinian on al-Nafaq Street in eastern Gaza City, a medical source said.
Local sources and witnesses said Zionist regime’s military vehicles and quadcopter drones also fired on homes and tents housing displaced Palestinians in the eastern al-Tuffah neighborhood.
Zionist regime’s artillery struck areas surrounding residential buildings near Sheikh Zayed City in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, as intense gunfire was also heard from nearby Israeli positions.
In central Gaza, Zionist regime’s forces fired toward residential areas east of the Bureij refugee camp and carried out artillery shelling nearby, with no casualties reported.
According to Gaza's Health Ministry, Zionist regime’s ceasefire breaches have left 1,257 Palestinians dead and 4,131 others wounded since the agreement was implemented last October.
More than 73,000 Palestinians have been martyred and over 174,000 injured since Zionist regime launched its war on Gaza on October 8, 2023. Palestinians describe the offensive, carried out with US support, as genocidal, while nearly 90 percent of the territory's infrastructure has been devastated.
The United Nations children’s agency (UNICEF) reported on Friday that Zionist regime’s occupying forces have martyred at least 300 Palestinian children in the besieged Gaza Strip over the past 300 days since a ceasefire was announced in October 2025.
The UN agency said that this toll averages one child killed every day, despite an agreement meant to halt Zionist regime’s military aggression and enable the full entry of humanitarian aid and relief supplies.
