Hamas calls for more global support for Palestinian people’s struggle against occupation
The Hamas Movement has called for more global rallying against the occupation and its criminal practices against the Palestinian people and their land.
This came in a statement released on the “International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People,” which is marked on November 29 each year.
Hamas also called for more global solidarity with the Palestinian people’s just cause and their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.
Hamas applauded the worldwide active popular support for the Palestinian people, and expressed its appreciation for all the official and popular positions backing their national cause, calling for pooling the efforts to bolster the Palestinian struggle against the Israeli occupation.
Hamas urged the Arab and Muslim masses and the world’s free people to make November 29 an annual occasion to reactivate the international popular action against the Israeli occupation and its violations in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem.
“This year’s International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People comes nearly 50 days after the start of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, during which the fascist occupation government has continued to commit daily violations through demolishing buildings, artillery shelling, assassinations, and preventing the entry of aid,” Hamas said.
“This far-right racist government also escalates its aggression, and settlement and Judaization schemes in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem with no regard for international law and resolutions, while there is no effective deterrence to curb its terrorism, arrogance, aggression, and criminal plots,” Hamas added.
“Our people’s just and legitimate cause is a national liberation struggle to end the world’s longest and most brutal settler‑colonial occupation, which has become a real threat to the security and stability of the region and the world as a result of its terrorism that has extended beyond our occupied land and its contempt for international law and UN resolutions,” the Movement underlined.
