Yemen says possesses ability, means to deal painful blows to ‘Zionist enemy’

The Yemeni defense minister and the Chief of the General Staff of the Yemeni Armed Forces have warned that the Arab nation possesses the ability and means to deliver crushing and painful blows to the “Zionist enemy” if it makes any mistake.

Enemies, particularly the criminal Zionist entity, all arrogant advocates of the regime, and all traitors should know that we have built up an advanced, powerful, sophisticated and modern army, which is capable of defending the homeland and the sanctities of the Muslim world,” Major General Mohammed Nasser al-Atifi and Muhammad Abd al-Karim al-Ghamari said in a joint statement on Saturday night.

The statement added that the Yemeni Armed Forces, through reliance on their homegrown military hardware and defense capabilities, will give a painful response to any act of aggression against the country.

The Zionist enemy should be aware that any desecration of the sanctities of Muslim nations will not go unanswered. Our response to aggressors will be crushing, and they will have to pay a heavy price,” it further noted.

The statement underlined that the occupying Tel Aviv regime has committed an “unforgivable crime” by attacking Yemen and will have fairly negative repercussions for it.

It was referring to the assassination of Yemeni Prime Minister Ahmed Ghalib al-Rahawi and several ministers in an Israeli air strike on Sana’a on August 28.

The high-ranking Yemeni military commanders emphasized that support for Gaza-based Palestinian resistance fighters will continue relentlessly, and Yemeni naval units will press ahead with their strikes against Israeli assets in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Gulf of Aden, and deep inside the occupied Palestinian territories.

They stated that the Yemeni retaliatory operations will continue unabated until the Israeli genocidal war on Gaza ceases, and the cruel siege on the coastal territory is completely lifted.

In response to the genocidal war on Gaza that commenced in October 2023, Yemeni forces implemented a strategic maritime blockade aimed at hindering the flow of military supplies to Israel, while calling on the international community to confront the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Simultaneously, they executed several missile and drone strikes on critical targets situated in the Israeli-occupied territories, showcasing their support for the Palestinians in Gaza.

The Yemeni Armed Forces have clearly declared their intention to persist with their operations until Zionist regime's ceases its ground and aerial attacks on Gaza.

The Zionist regime's war in Gaza has killed more than 65,000 Palestinians, the majority of whom are women and children.
