Guardian:

Our leaders appear resolute in their pursuit of war

Jeremy Corbyn, British MP and a former leader of the Labour party, wrote in an article published by Guardian that political leaders’ thirsty for war will pose a threat to all people.

Tehran, Qodsna - Despite efforts to advocate for peace in various regions such as Gaza, Ukraine, Yemen, Sudan, and the DRC, pleas have been disregarded, and history will condemn those who promote war.

Today's political leaders are consciously steering towards war, disregarding calls for peace and perpetuating suffering in places like Gaza.

Despite widespread demonstrations for a ceasefire, the unfolding crisis in Gaza and the Middle East is being met with indifference, risking catastrophic consequences for the world.

It is imperative for political leaders to prioritize peace over militaristic endeavors, as their thirst for war jeopardizes the well-being of all.

Back in October, many of us warned that we were witnessing the beginning of the total annihilation of Gaza and its people, and we pleaded with political leaders on both sides to call out war crimes that were being committed before their very eyes.

Today, some politicians have finally started to backtrack, frightened by the electoral consequences of their inhumanity.
