New York Times:

Pro-Palestinian protesters, many of whom are Jewish

New York Times has highlighted in an article that anti-Zionist Jewish students and activists expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause at universities in the United States.

Tehran, Qodsna - On the first night of Passover, the traditional recitation of the Four Questions resonated from Jewish homes and gatherings worldwide, even in unexpected locations such as the focal point of pro-Palestinian protests at Columbia and other universities, students came together with symbolic gestures in support of Palestine.

Similar scenes unfolded at other pro-Palestinian encampments and protests, where anti-Zionist Jewish students and activists expressed solidarity with the Palestinian cause and incorporated references to Palestinian suffering into their rituals.

At Chabad Columbia, a more conventional Passover celebration took place, providing a sense of community and belonging for students amidst campus tensions.

Rabbi Yuda Drizin emphasized the importance of rising above conflicts and finding comfort in celebrating Jewish identity, irrespective of external circumstances.
