SDPN condemns Israeli constraints on Aqsa arrivals

The Iranian based Society in Defense of the Palestinian People (SDPN) in a statement on Tuesday strongly condemned the Israeli constraints on the Muslim arrivals into the sacred al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied al-Quds in Palestine.

The Iranian based Society in Defense of the Palestinian People (SDPN) in a statement on Tuesday strongly condemned the Israeli constraints on the Muslim arrivals into the sacred al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied al-Quds in Palestine.

The statement said the closure of the mosque was a prelude to a finalization of Israeli plans against the sacred mosque, adding a passive state in the Muslim community over the Palestinian issue and overtures to Israel by the superficially pro-Palestinian Arab states has further emboldened Israeli to follow up its malicious projects.

The statement affirmed that the mosque and the occupied city have an Islamic and Arab identity and that there is no Israeli link to the site and city.

"The closure of the mosque therefore is an illegitimate act and a violation of all international conventions," the statement said, adding the international bodies must fulfill their task concerning the Israeli violation.

The statement said the holy city of Quds was the primary symbol of the Islamic identity of Palestine and that Muslims are supposed to protect it.

The statement said the violation would not be left unanswered by the Palestinian youths, adding the sort of the latest anti-occupation operation that took place in the city would not be the last one.

The statement said the Israeli measures against the mosque would further expand the anti-occupation Palestinian intifada (uprising) unlike the Israeli will and expectation.
